That is not correct, it’s just something the anti-Tebow crowd says. IMO they just try to mask unwarranted hate by saying “it’s the Tebow fans I don’t like.” Not 1 time have I seen a “Tebowmaniac” say anything about him being the greatest, a hall of famer, a great QB. All the pro Tebow crowd ever said was the Broncos sucked with Orton and if Tebow played they would win. That is what happened. Then the Anti Tebow crowd will say what they always do, “He is just a running back, he can’t throw, his completion % is 47.” Then they ignore every other fact. Oh and I love this on, “It was the defense that won anyway”. Yep it was that 20th ranked defense.

I wish him no physical ills but I gladly and rabidly root against him every time he steps on a field. Heroes AND villains BOTH (along with many other reasons of course) make the game compelling.

Eric Silva has to include more details in his articles. I guess he assumes everyone knows a great deal about Denver’s offensive system in 2011. I would argue that the fans in Denver know about the Broncos system. However, fans of the other 31 teams don’t know all the details about the evolution of Denver’s offense in 2011.

While I agree that Thomas is a beast, without Tebow they rushed for 84 yards a game. With Tebow (who rushed for almost 700 yards) they rushed for 202 yards a game. The argument for number 1 rushing in the league cannot be used as a viable asset for Manning. The passing numbers will be improved and the rushing numbers will be drastically lower. Thomas does need to work on his route running and drops but that should come with playing.

Have you ever been to Denver? It’s not that cold. Sure, we get snow sometimes, but we also get more days of sunshine than any state in the country.

I think the thing Manning will enjoy is seeing those defenses huff and puff when they are running that hurry-up offense. A lot of people aren’t used to that mile-high air….
