Packers receiver Donald Driver may never join Emmitt Smith and (in time) Hines Ward as members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But they’ll always have something else in common, other than ownership of at least one Super Bowl ring each.

Smith, Ward, and Driver are the three NFL players who have won ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. (We didn’t post this last night in deference to our friends in the Pacific time zone, who prefer to enjoy their televised dancing competitions unspoiled by advance knowledge of the outcome.)

Mrs. PFT informs me that the judges on the show informed Driver that he’s the best football player to have appeared on the show. So he’s got that going for him. Which is nice.

Driver now will take his mirror ball trophy back to Green Bay, where as agent Jordan Woy told PFT last week an effort to work out the details of Driver’s deal with the Packers will commence.
