More cluelessness.

Schottenheimer was RETAINED after going 14-2 on A.J. Smith’s recommendation to Dean Spanos. AFTER Marty got butt hurt over not getting an extension, he specifically did stuff that the team owner (his boss) told him he could not do. Marty pressed the issue so that he would get himself fired and get a paid vacation for a couple years. You go do something your boss specifically tells you not to and let us know how it works out.

Meanwhile, ZERO NFL teams have hired Schottenheimer since then.

They have one of the best defenses in football, they have one of the best backs in the league to go with an offensive line that received a shot in the arm with the addition of Eric Winston, a strong receiving core headed by Dwayne Bowe and complimented with Jonathan Baldwin (who I hear is progressing greatly), and some decent depth. The glaring weak spot is still in the interior of the offensive line and a limited quarterback.
But that is more than the teams in the rest of the division can say.
