Tebow and the Jets would have been much better served having Tebow work with a private QB coach – or one of the team’s coaches – during the offseason to improve his play, instead of spending all his time chasing publicity.

Why does everyone think he’s a great runner? He’s good at breaking tackles for a QB but compare him to an actual fullback of TE and he’s not that physically impressive (and way more expensive in a lot of cases).

Tebow should have been that gimmick QB drafted in the 7th round for some team to play around with. Josh McDaniels screwed up and we all are paying the price with the constant coverage.

You can tell it is off season when a 7 on 7 drill draws this much attention and a new QB throwing interceptions are an indication of anything other then it was a few practices into his learning curve and made a few mistakes! Yeesh

Tebow is on his 3rd offense in three seasons. First day of OTA’s he goes 6-8. Not bad IMO, and he WILL get better. Purely as a passer, Tebow is better than Blaine Gabbert. Plus he will give you 800 rushing yards and 10 scores. Plus he’s a fantastic locker room presence. Plus he has a ton of upside. He just needs a team that will believe in him and give him a fair shot. He’s only started 16 games, after all. QB rating in those 16 games is higher than Sanchez’.

If I were Tebow’s coach, I’d throw him in at Fullback/Halfback. Tebow can do one thing real well, and thats break tackles. Why not have him in there as a part time FB, taking the ball a few times throughout the game, running a couple of option plays, screens, some WildPlane plays? I guarantee the opposing D would have to account for him on every play, which would give plenty of opportunity to the other players throughout the game.

Wait so Mark Sanchez was 7-14 during the drills and Tebow was 6-8, and Sanchez looked better? Hmmmmm. Interceptions are never good but 6-8 doesnt sound too shaky
