Yeah keep telling yourself that, look at some of their recent drafts. Brady is the only thing keeping that team afloat with Belichick the supposed defensive “genius” wasting draft picks every year on defensive backs who can’t even crack another team’s roster. I’m sure I’ll get a bunch of tumbs down but whatever, I’m right. Look at their drafts lately, full of busts.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
McCourtey, Gronkowski, Spikes, Hernandez, etc...
That 2010 draft sure was gruesome.

in the brady/belichick era the pats have been in 5 super bowls and all of them were very close games.

they could be 0 and 5 or 5 and 0 and it wouldn’t take more than a few plays turning out differently

As a Pats fan (not sure if you are) I pretty much agree with this. The only SB I think is more of a given was SB 39 because it wasn't as close as the score, IMO.

As a fan of the game, I'm glad that in the salary cap/FA era, SBs are competitive and close for the most part.

As for Jones' deal and some of the other seeming outliers, I would actually take this year as the first real example of the rookie deals because perhaps some of the terms last season were "forced" by the lateness of the beginning of the league year.

As usual, the cheapskate Patsys are expecting their players to take less in exchange for the "privilege" of paying for them.

Their history during the Belicheapskate years are full of cases where they won't pay their players what they could get from another team.

That's why guys like Peyton Manning always made more than Brady did, even though the Patsys "won" more titles.

Of course the Colts may have "won" more themselves had they bent the rules and cheated like New England did.

is it just me or does everyone else thinks both giants SB wins were fluky,"

Are you on crack? The Giants Dfense showed they were better than the Patriots offense in both superbowls. The Dline is what makes the Giants D go. Eli Manning outplayed the 16-0 2007 and the 13-3 2012 Patriots.

So what you're saying is that the SuperBowl should be 'Best of 7?' like the NBA, MLB, and NHL? Come on. Patriots just weren't good enough and/or didn't bring it on SuperSunday.

Second of all, the 16-0, 13-3 record from playing the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills, isn't the same from playing the Eagles, Cowboys, and Redskins.

Yeah keep telling yourself that, look at some of their recent drafts. Brady is the only thing keeping that team afloat with Belichick the supposed defensive "genius" wasting draft picks every year on defensive backs who can't even crack another team's roster. Nah.

Eli beat bill and brady straight up, twice.

The patriots are a franchise seeded on a FLUKY call (chowds can go tuck themselves) and rooted in cheating (spygate). The patriots have exactly what they deserve. Too much, for that matter.

I just wanted to see the new and creative way(another way to screw another player) the patriots came up with to save $$$ on this years
1st rd pick.

Well done robert, your minions serve you well.
