I’m a chiefs fan but the chiefs wont ever win a Superbowl he couldn’t win a sb with the pats when he filled in for Brady the best team at the time don’t care what anybody says he sucks and he’s not a franchise WB and paoli will not have the same success in kc he got lucky in new England. Even as a Buc’s fan I wouldn’t have guessed Winslow’s numbers were as decent as they were. Seems like every time I turned the channel to them he was dropping something. If Clark can stay healthy I’d take him every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Quality player, good for Freeman to have.

Compare him to Winslow – it’s a perfect example to illustrate what is more important to winning. KWII had significantly more talent and ability, but Clark would be a far better addition to a team wanting to win. KWII would do whatever it took to get his catches, but not the dirty, ugly, non-glory related grunt work that makes the difference, like Clark would do.

Its similar to Hines Ward vs. Terrell Owens or Randy Moss. Better individual production can be misleading, especially when you don’t make your teammates better or give a better chance of winning.

No, more likely playing time was a big factor, as the post suggests. Is he really going to have a big role in NE with Gronk and Hernandez (a younger, much more athletic player than Clark at this point)?
