With the new Oline, receivers, positive energy, OTA’S, new D coordinator, revamped secondary, a good LB coach, no more Shaincoe drops of TD’s or first down conversions the Vikings are going to be good. 10-6 is very attainable, being swept by the other north teams isn’t as likely. If the Vikings are terrible again then Fraizer & Musgrave and probably Spielman will be gone and they can hire a real staff. This season is a win/win either way.

Does the lack of Super Bowl victories bother Vikings Fans.?.? Hell no, find a more loyal fan base than us, I dare you. 51 seasons, no Super Bowl victories, numerous NFC Championship chokes, do Viking fans take the easy route…. NO. We aren’t seasonal pansies.. We love our team. Show me a franchise that has never won a SB that has sold their stadium out for 12 years in a row since their last divisional championship game? You can never call a Viking fan, seasonal. If you do, than you don’t know a damn thing about football. We are more die-hard fans than any team in the NFL… Guaranteeed.

As great as a retractable roof sounds, it’s very expensive and not easy. It’s not like some sliding moon roof.
Plus in Winter if the roof was to be left open for cold game advantage, it could damage the infrastructure in that kind of weather.
Maybe they can find some type of glass or acrylic that looks like an open sky. Sheets of glass that large are very hard to manufacture and very heavy though…
