So what if it makes it more difficult for New Orleans to keep him in 2013. You’re only as good as your last game. Well sports fans, Brees’s last game was a big ole L. With an Offense that had more talent on it than the team that they lost to. To a QB that a lot of people claimed was a dead Indian in the NFL.

Sitting out the season would do more harm than good to Brees future. I don’t care about the Yards he threw for this last season. The truth of the matter is that the Saints Defense was the 24th ranked Defense in the league and part of that had much to do with Brees throwing more leading to 16 Regular Season Interceptions. Personnel men round the league know these statistics. They’ll go after Brees cause he has a history of success, but don’t be surprised if teams like the 9ers would take a Pass on that. Especially if their guy has another solid season.
