Walter’s receptions have declined, but Kubiak loves Walter for what he brings to the team and he’s not losing his position anytime soon. Plus, no team is interested in T.O. at all, so why would the Texans even consider him? He can’t even play for an arena league team, why waste a camp spot on a guy who’ll give you next to nothing and instead bring in a guy who had a good year not too long ago as well.

They could sign Terrell to a non-guaranteed deal like the 49ers gave Randy Moss where his 2.5 million dollar contract does not become guaranteed unless Terrell wins the the #2 wide receiver position.

Best case scenario is he still has some gas in the tank and beats out Kevin Walter for the #2 wide receiver position while worse case scenario is that he has nothing left to offer and you cut him after training camp without paying him anything.
He is always is great shape and I think he could bring some much need punch opposite Andre. Besides, Kevin Walter’s receptions have declined the last five consecutive seasons. C’mon Texans.

Given the Rams’ and Jaguars’ quarterback play last year, I’d say he deserves another shot. If he still doesn’t work out then it might be time to give it up.

It doesn’t say anything necessarily. Houston only has 2 WRs on the roster who have caught an NFL pass. Adding a veteran while you give your young receivers time to develop makes sense even if AJ is fine and they like how the rookies look.
