Sanchez regressed in 2011 after showing progress and promise in his 1st 2 years. This is his year to either grab the job and limelight or get cut. Should be interesting.

too many ooh gosh moments??? he is a three year pro and he still has too many ooh gosh moments??? he is a BUM!! thank God they brought in Tebow. With any kind of divine intervention, Tebow will be starting after Sanchez throws a couple of pik sixes. He has happy feet, a good hard hit and he scared for the rest of the game. He is a CHICKEN> Tebow can take a hit. I am looking forward to this season!!!

Still can’t wrap my head around the fact that someone in the Jets organization actually thought signing Tebow was a good idea.

Sanchez’s ego was already as fragile as a china doll. Now he’s headed toward a complete melt down the first time he struggles.

ajpurp, I’m not sure what games you’ve been watching. Sanchez has a strong arm, and is decently accurate 20 yards+. His accuracy struggles are in the short game, which is somewhat odd because those are usually the easy passes.

Sanchez hasn’t had a losing season since being drafted. He’s 31 -22 overall wins/losses including the playoffs. Not saying he’s Joe Montana but don’t say they can’t win with him, that just not true.

Yelix, Everyone treats Sanchez like that because of Rex and the hatred for him. If Mark played in KC or Jax you wouldn’t hear all of this hate. Also non stories like this don’t help. Tomorrow hopefully we get Tebow’s stats from a pickup game in his backyard vs neighborhood kids.

Um Tebow is by no means a good quarterback and everything about how he throws is just terrible, he gets way to much attention too, but really saying he has a weaker arm than Sanchez??? It’s literally the one thing the dude has, the deep ball and arm strength. They may go crooked or catch air, but if he gets a spiral and doesn’t take 5 minutes in his release he can flat out wing it. Sanchez has the arm of a 9th grader, Terrible choice for comparison.

I love how everyone treats Sanchez like he’s as bad as Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell. He isn’t the greatest QB in the league, but he can make every throw and (except for parts of the 2011 season) he’s been pretty good in the 4th quarter. I always got the impression that he has confidence issues or something.

I’m interested to see how this experiment goes. The bottom line is the Jets can’t win with only Sanchez or with only Tebow.

Find a way to get them both on the field at the same time, working together – the Jets could be tough to stop.

If anyone has a chance of pulling that off its Tony Sparano – and I’m saying all of this as a Patriots fan.

I know it’s way to early to take anything from these sessions, but I’m sure the Jets will find a way to screw this up. Really, if Sanchez does get hurt or is his usual ineffective self and gets yanked, who will run the 2 minute drill? McElroy or Tebow?
