He recently told Arrowhead Pride or Addict (always get the two mixed up) that he plans to be at training camp and won’t miss any games.

Franchising Bowe and not Carr was the right move. Bowe is the first true #1 receiver the Chiefs have had in ages. Carr is a solid-but-unremarkable #2 corner who Jerry Jones broke out the funny money for.
