Orton was sacked 9 times in 4.5 games. Tebow was sacked 33 times in 11.5 games, despite the Broncos often running the ball 40+ times (and occasionally 50+ times) with Tebow at the helm. The undeniable conclusion is that the line played much better when they had a quarterback that understands how an NFL passing game works. They’ll look better still with Manning’s remarkably quick decision making.

That rookie qb had better be ready early cause he’s gonna be going in soon after the season starts. When one of the 300 lb goons hits Manning, he’s gone for good.

You seem to forget how bad the team in general looked while Kyle Orton was “leading” the team. If they can get 7 wins in 12 starts with a QB that can’t throw the ball, look the hell out. But go ahead and spew your hatred, loser. Whatever makes you feel better.

You can blame the quarterbacks all you want, but Denver’s O-line wasn’t good, even after Orton got benched.

He should be back to full strength now, it’s been 2 years since he injured his knee

actually there’s a big difference and could really help him in his last year of his contract in getting a new one if they wait for after the season, he will most likely get the credit as being much improved with a real QB who has a quick release , getting the ball out faster will mean Clady actually won’t have to work as hard as he did with T-fruad back there

Clady is going to have a bounce back year. He had his best season while protecting Cutler who, like Peyton, has a very quick release. Besides even the greatest of o-lineman will give up sacks if their qb is dropping back 20 yards every play and doesn’t know how to read coverage..
