Jeff Fisher found some unexpected ways to keep busy before jumping back into the NFL with the Rams.
One of those unexpected diversions was an appearance in a music video. Fisher is featured in a video for a Nashville band called Goodbye June. He plays a cigar-smoking police officer who chases the band in a car after seeing them litter while at a gas station. That seems like a bit of an overreaction, although we’re certainly hoping for a sequel where Tom Coughlin chases the band after they arrive three minutes early for a meeting.
Turf Show Times got some background on the video from YeahYeahCreative.com, who filmed it. They got Fisher to agree to appear before he signed on with the Rams and filmed it in January on Fisher’s Tennessee farm as he was making the move to St. Louis.
“Jeff was as personable and fun to work with as anyone we’ve run across,” David Lavender of Yeah Yeah Creative said. “He was extremely generous to let us film (and wreck a car) on his farm. He didn’t mind firing up the cigar for the video just after our 7:30 a.m. call time. If you didn’t know any better, you’d just think he was someone’s buddy that decided to act for us.”
