5) Beat 15-1 defending SB champ, GB..again in GB in Jan.

6) Beat SF in SF in their weather.

7) Beat NE yet again in SB.

Note….all of the above occurred AWAY from Giants’ Stadium.

Great coaches get their teams to rise to challenges. If the above weren’t daunting challenges, then you are simply a blind hater.

what makes him a great coach is how he brings his team together and gets them ready to play. yeah during the regular season the 49ers and packers were better. And we CRUSHED the packers and made bigger plays then the 9ers to beat them too. and who prepared them? who coached them up? Coughlin!!!!!! Hence me saying great coach and oh the 2 superbowl wins in 5 years helps too dont ya think.

Keep on drinking the Kool Aid. This is the team that got embarrassed in Miracle at the New Meadowlands in 2010. This is the team that nearly got swept by the Eagles last year were it not for the new defense. This team was simply not as good as the 49ers, Saints or Packers. The difference was they got hot at the right time, and had a little luck. Don’t get me wrong…that’s great. They won the SB and deserve it. But let’s get delusional about building a dynasty here because you came back and won a few games and squeaked your way into playoffs. A few years prior, the Patriots went 11-5 and didn’t even make the playoffs. Perspective, champ.

Typical eagles fan, I’ll tell you what you hang on to your two miracles at the meadowlands and we will hang on to our 4 Superbowl trophies. The best team dosent always have to win, its who plays the best. Look at the NHL, the kings are the 8th seed and 1 win away from the championship, are they the best team?

You are just bitter because the eagles can never win when it matters most, the best player in your sorry franchises history had to win elsewhere (Reggie White) with GB. The Eagles couldn’t win a free cotton candy at the carnival.

BTW. This kool-aid taste great especially when your sipping it next to four Lombardi trophies.

I’m an Eagles fan too. Of course, he has players, but he still coaches them. He’s part of a team effort and has done an excellent job with that team.

Avoid a lame duck season? the team didn’t exactly win 10 games last year… They got hot when it mattered, if they do what they did last year, they might not even make the playoffs.

Last year, the Giants won five regular season games in which they trailed in the fourth quarter, tying the franchise record they set in 2002. They tied Denver and Cincinnati for the NFL’s second-highest total. Arizona led the league with six.

I’m an Eagles fan, but in all honesty I don’t see where you get that. Coughlin has benefited from great defense and recently, Eli and his receivers being amazing. This has nothing to do with coaching. Last year they were 9-7. In fact, the Eagles were very close to sweeping them even with our pathetic defense last year. In 2010, he cursed out his punter on national TV after we came back to beat them. As for the Superbowl, the Giants might have won, but you’ll have a hard time convincing me they were the best team. The 49ers and Packers were both better. The Saints were definitely better. That doesn’t take anything away from the Giants’ win, but don’t go telling me what a “great coach” Mr. Redface Constipation Coughlin is.

- The Giants have 3 weeks of the regular season left to make the playoffs.

- All 3 games are against teams that HATE US.

- 2 of the 3 games are MUST WINS.

- We accomplish what we had to, and made the playoffs.

HOW IS THAT “SNEAKING IN?”

Were we watching the TV, hoping a team would lose, so we could get in? NOPE.

If any team snuck in, it was Atlanta – who got SHUT OUT on offense in the first round against us, after winning more games than us during the regular season. So which is it? We snuck in, or Atlanta had an easier schedule?
