I would blame the school (Michigan St). They coddle the athletes, cover up their criminal behavoir, circumvent the criminal justice system, give them priority in classes, tutors, deals with professors, etc. Some schools *cough* LSU *cough* even have illiterates starting at CB. Hey, it’s all good as long as they star!

You can TOTALLY blame Millen for not being able to see that this dude didn’t have it all wired properly upstairs. I find it extremely difficult to believe that you couldn’t see SOMETHING to question the use of a #2 overall pick on him. Millen was the most incompetent talent evaluator EVER and this is his crowning achievement, his defining move in personnel management.
