getting pretty damn tired of this site putting words into d-hall’s mouth. why are yall piling it on? did he say he compares favorably to vick? no. he compared the two and said rg3 is more focused, but has the same playmaking ability. how does that ‘compare favorably’ ????

Isn’t RG3 light years ahead of Vick at the same age? The hatred of Hall is sidebar. He sees in OTA’s what many of us already saw live or on film. RG3 is more mature, way more cerebrally advanced, has incredibly more character than Vick could wish to have, is more coachable, way more accurate, is just as fast, has the same type of arm strength, and has more personality than Vick.

Don’t be surprised by all the hype, this is typical Redskins fans style. I live near DC, and every year I have to hear these fools around here crap their pajamas as they prepare for a Playoff season all because they signed ONE guy. I remember how Haynesworth was lauded, before he got too fat and lay on the field watching QBs run past him. I remember seeing McNabb’s face on billboards and on the sides of busses before he crapped the bed and got pulled vs Detroit in favor of Fat Rex. I also remember how the entire bar I was at exploded with squeals and talks of a Superbowl as soon as RG3 and his stupid-looking socks were drafted in April. Jumping the gun much?

Hall has absolutely no credibility on his judge of character so it really doesn’t matter what he has to say about anyone. I can’t wait til RG3 throws his first pass – probably an interception – to shut all these Redskins fans up…that is until Danny opens his wallets and signs their next “savior.”

Cerrato signed a bunch over hill the former pro bowlers. Cerrato hasn’t been in the league for two years. Please stop assuming Shanahan and Allen are running this team the same way. There’s been growing pains but it’s going to get going. We got a QB now just build around him and add to what we have.

I remember when Donovan McNabb was often called a “running quarterback”. He hated that designation back then. He should feel better about it now though, since nobody has accused him of anything like that lately. The only thing he’s accused of anymore is killing a lot of worms with his passes.

Im an Eagles fan and I see the potential in RG3 , he really MIGHT have what it takes to be great , but it’s only potential right now & no one knows how he’ll look playing with NFL players …. … Redskin fans should wait till RG3 leads them out of the NFC East basement before singing his praises ….. AS a Skins Fan when i see a D’angelo Hall Article, immediately shun it…i appreciate the words on Rg3 Hall, But this year I think you should worry more about YOU and not getting left behind or burned by Receivers, and Since you Think your the next Charles Woodson, i expect a lot out of You this year..and own up to your own mistakes on the field..thats what i expect from you this year with all the talk.

How about we all see what RGIII can do on the field, in an actual NFL game before he’s compared to anyone.

This set up for failure is about as monumental as I’ve seen. If he’s not better than Vick right from the start, he’ll be a disappointment.

As an Eagles fan, I’m loving all the hype and expectations.

NEWS FLASH….The key to not being a running QB, BLACK, WHITE or indifferent is to have a good O-line. When Vick was in Atlanta he had himself, Crumpler, and warrick Dunn and Very little else…. including a coach who had a clue…..that combination makes you a running QB. Not by design, but necessity and preservation of life…..The QB’s in the NFL that are successful is surrounded by talent…..Name a QB, past or present with good rb’s, receivers, O-line and a smart Offensive coordinator that ran the ball more than he threw it………..
