its pay for performance under your contract, anything more that that circumvents the salary cap and therefore violates the cba and is seen as an unfair advantage

@truthfactory he clearly said a wack is a hit where you up-end a guy. all ‘wacks’ are legal hits – doesn’t make all legal hits ‘wacks’

i think the saints bounty allegations – if true – is one of the worst things in the history of professional sports. but lets be honest with ourselves here. nothing that came out this week is incriminating against the players.

I guess i understand why Harper got agitated but he should be lucky he didn’t get suspended either. He should be all smiles. Whether you believe in the bounties or not he could have gone down with them.

No. A whack is a type of tackle. A hard hit that plants a guy on his shoulders/back before his butt hits the ground. That’s not 95% of tackles.

I don’t understand what you don’t understand. When you consider that The tape shows Greg Williams offering an envelope of cash and Harper giving it back, it’s pretty to understand his denial. Now was he offered mney for a sack – that’s a different issue entirely. But faulting him for that is like arresting a guy who gets offered to buy drugs but says so.
