It's time to cross the Bills off the list.

Just give it a rest already.

I get the same feeling whenever I read Goodell saying the fans want an 18 game season.

@realitypolice:

Amen. The NFL will get back to L.A. sooner rather than later. It's too much $ that will go towards paying off retired players and saving face at the same time.

HOW-EVER. You talk about the dubious ownership situations, so then you must recognize the Rams current ownership situation:
Stan Kroenke:
-Born & Raised in Missouri.
-Bought a portion of the Rams on the condition the Rams move to St. Louis.
-His two major empires are HQed in Denver & St. Louis. His quasi-third, Wal-Mart, is in Arkansas - right below Missouri.

Further, Rodger Goodell voted for St. Louis both times when the league was deciding where the should send expansion franchises when JAX & CAR got their feline teams.

The Rams' future in LA will be on the condition that St. Louis makes every wrong move trying to keep the Rams or if somehow, Kroenke sells the Rams IP to any LA team.

Boom.

@scmitty2:

And I love people like you who come on here and try to compare the previous 2 situations where LA lost teams to the current NFL environment.

It shows a glaring lack of comprehension of how the business of the NFL has changed in the decades since there was last a team there.

Those franchises had terrible stadium situations and dubious ownership situations: one owner that was constantly battling the NFL and that the league hated and one owner that was a crazy lady who consulted astrological charts to make management decisions.

If you honestly think that the NFL is not going back to LA, you're a blind man walking around without a cane.

Demoff was further quoted as saying “we’re two or three years away from moving into a state of the art stadium in the second largest market in the country where our franchise value will double overnight. You think we’re selling now?”

I know you love to come on here and show your undying love for a team coming to L.A. Forget all the tv deals, big media market nonsense. The fact is L.A. area people don't and will not support an NFL franchise- it has already been proven

Wow, that was a confusing sentence. It sounded like Ralph Wilson had already passed away.
