Duh……how do you think the press finds out about these events unless his publicist pimps for him?

Hesitation pure publicity hound, trying to repair his image after all of the abuse he took after the stomp and multiple accidents.
It took years before the press found out about Brandon Inge’s 100′s of thousands in donations to the U of M Children Hospital. Suh stands for nothing but Suh.

Are you kidding me? Every single thing Inge did was always reported in the same "He's such a nice guy gritty playing though injuries" storyline that he had his entire career. Inge was a Detroit Media darling for years. I think I've probably read 30 articles about Inge's community service, hell it probably kept him in a Tigers uniform longer so he could not hit and cost us more games.

I’m a Lions fan here, and you will probably call me a cynic…but honestly, if you are going to do charity work stop making such an effort to publicize your efforts. And that goes for all athletes/celebrities. This just reeks of a heavily crafted public relations effort to rehabilitate Suh’s image.

Do you know in fact that he sought out the freep writer for the story?
By the way, publicity is what charities need. Wise up please.

I guess that it was publice relations that predicated that Suh promise $1 million to his Alma Mater's football program even before he signed his first pro contract. I guess it was done in anticipation of his stepping on an a$$ clown's arm (didn't even draw blood) during a game. You know, the Packer a$$ clown that continually untied Suh's shoe laces during scrums.

Wow – a millionaire pro athlete fulfills his team’s community service obligations. Truly amazing.

Meanwhile, John Q. Public making $40,000 a year does this kind of stuff all the time, but he’s not recognized. Whatever.

Suh has gone well above and beyond his team's community service obligations. He also gave $2.6MM to the University of Nebraska and along with Jahvid Best helped completely refit a local high school team with new equipment after theirs was stolen.
This is a football website, if you want to see stories about John Q Public doing nice things go to a regular news website, there are feel good articles like that every day.
