APWith the changes in the CBA, rookie signings aren’t nearly what they used to be.
That said, guys are still signing, and it’s June, so we report it.
Per his agent Mike McCartney’s twitter account, Bengals third-round pick Mohamed Sanu has signed his contract. Per the slotted system that makes this so easy, Sanu will get a maximum signing bonus of $563,252 on a four-year deal.
The Rutgers product has a chance to make an early impact for the Bengals, although at the moment he’s behind Armon Binns and Brandon Tate for the starting job opposite A.J. Green, according to offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.

Yes! So far my hopes are still alive
congrats to Sanu for his big pay day. my wife teaches at his High School and I got a chance to meet him a few years back when he was still a student. kid is an awesome athlete and an even nicer guy. AJ Green with Sanu on the other side… not bad.
Wow, first day on the job and Gantt breaks the Sanu signing!
Congrats Mo. You earned every bit and then some.
Was the Bengals rep legit or an impersonater?
Hopefully your kiddin’ thegreatgabbert … not sure giving props for “breaking ” the news about a 3rd rounder signing is really called for .
That said , I believe SANU is going to be a very good NFL receiver that someday soon opposing teams will regret passing on ( multiple times ) .
