I don’t understand, WHY can’t he learn the playbook? If it’s a genuine learning disability and not just someone distracted by his own life, then this needs to be addressed accordingly and special memorizing techniques utilized. Is there more to this story?

For all of the praise that BB gets both justified and unjustified I hope Ocho can finally admit this guy tried to ruin his career. We had to watch a year of one of the most genuinely open players in the leauge become a shut in. They knew what they were getting when they traded for him so why not let Chad be Chad. It’s a shame to see what he had to go through. I hope he catches on somewhere and can go out in style when he’s ready.

If the Dolphins do bring him on, it’ll be interesting to see if the media savvy cultural icon Ochocinco shows up or if the quiet good teammate Patriot Chad shows up.

For some reason, I hope (and for entertainment sake on Hard Knocks) we’ll see the cultural icon Ochocinco.

I still laugh every time I think of that “Child Please” segment with Ochocinco when Hard Knocks did the show with the Bengals.

I’m guessing either Marlon Moore or Roberto Wallace [b/c of their talent level and new coach/system] are on the verge of a semi breakout season.

Since we don’t know which one of them it might be, I’d rather keep both and play the odds….. which means no room for an over the hill OMG WTF.

I also wouldn’t trust sending Jeff Fuller and/or Rishard Matthews to the practice squad w/o being poached.

chad was a good teammate in new England. good guy and not distracting. if he is willing and able to learn the playbook I think he would be a great addition in Miami.

Its “sad”* that after all the years as a PRO, he is tagged with “if he can learn the playbook.”

QBs can’t stand and watch him to see if he can run around and get free anywhere he chooses – they have to know exactly where he is, and he needs to know where to be and help block his man!

* feel free to substitute ‘sad’ with “stupid, dumb, financially irresponsible, disastrous, lazy, useless, and / or hopeless” – or any other term you might choose. . .
