With the dysfunction at the OLB position, Rice holding out, flacco needing a new contract, lewis being old and falling off, ed reed complaining about his contract, suggs out for the season, steelers and bengals getting noticeably better i think the ravens need to get ready for third place behind the steelers and bengals.

My goodness how people think they are the next Adam Shefter or John Clayton breaking teams down.

Dysfunction at OLB? What's that? Suggs a probowl OLB is injured. And JJ signed elsewhere because of salary cap issues. How is that dysfunction. I agree it creates new faces in new roles but using the word dysfunction? What? They have the poeple there. They need to step up. Are you trying vie for writing headlines for PFT?

Ed Reed complains annually. I love this guy but this is not the first time he talks off the reservation. They'll work it out. You shouldn't talk about what you don't know.

Ray Rice is a team guy. It will get worked out. Did you hear one complaint last year from this guy? Can't say that about Forte, MJD, and others before them that were under contract. Rice stays in tip top condition. RL52 has taught him well on how to train and treat his body.

Flacco too will get done. He's in camp. The incentive of a new contract is not going to be a negative. That is not his demeanor at all. In fact, I see it the other way. This is a non-issue at the moment and it's on the teams front burner with Rice.

And last Ray. RL is not what he once was. Don't disagree at all. But given some of the new faces the D will have (you remember the dysfuction you delude yourself with), you couldn't have a better mentor or on-field coach. Don't forget that secondary has a year's more experience. That will help that D tremendously also. Ray has been in decline but still plays well.

Roastme, being an alarmist in unbecoming. Being uninformed is unforgiveable. Go away and stay in the terrible NFC West.

Wragge couldn’t make it for the WORST OLine in the NFL – the revolving door of the Rams. Poor Sam Bradford will end up like Marc Bulger, shellshocked and retired earlier than normal. The Ravens’ interest just shows how dysfunctional their OLine situation is…

==================================

I wouldn't call it dysfunctional at all. It's traning camp. They have what 90 some roster spots? Give the guy a shot, especially if someone gets hurt and they need a body to fill their spot until he gets better. Plus it pushes some of the rookies and fringe players to try harder.
