Daniel Graham appears to be nearing the end of the line.
Graham, a tight end who played in all 16 games for the Titans last season, starting seven, will be released by the Titans, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After signing a three-year contract with the Titans in July, Graham was used almost exclusively as a blocker last year, catching just two passes all season. A tight end who doesn’t catch passes isn’t a good fit for the Chris Palmer offense in Tennessee. Additionally, Graham will turn 34 in November and probably doesn’t have a lot left.
The Titans’ depth chart at tight end now consists of Jared Cook, Craig Stevens and fifth-round rookie Taylor Thompson.
