APThe Saints won’t need quarterback Chase Daniel on the final day of Organized Team Activities. Or quarterback Drew Brees. Or any quarterback.
Interim head coach Joe Vitt has decided to scrap the final day of voluntary practice, in favor of a round of golf.
“We do it every year,” Vitt said, via Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. ”Again, that’s something that Sean [Payton] did. We’ve done things like paint ball, go-kart riding. We’ve done a lot of different things. So we’ll end that with a little team scramble.”
We recommend against pooling cash for longest drive or closest to the pin or, you know, first guy to knock someone unconscious with a ball.
It’s somewhat surprising that so many teams are still willing to ditch the final day of OTAs, given that the maximum has dropped from 14 to 10. But like the last day of school, it’s doubtful that anything truly useful would happen in that final session, regardless of how many total practices are permitted.

Except in school you don’t make millions ! These players should be paying attention to every detail & should work their a$$es off each & every day . Today’s players are divas !
I’m sure all of the haters will find something to accuse the Saints of. Who Dat! 2 Dat!
Cause they were gonna get burned by the nfl anyway for illegal practices
I couldn’t think of a more fitting metaphor for the upcoming season.

Except in school you learn not to place a space between the last word of your sentence and the punctuation mark.
Regardless of income, if your boss says take the day off, then take the day off. No big deal.
God knows you need some relief from that 10 AM to 2PM grind, 10 days out of a 6 month off season. Practicing football in the park.
“or, you know, first guy to knock someone unconscious with a ball.”
Haha way to stick it to ‘em MF
Really, who cares about these losers?

So they have 10 practices and they scrap the last one since not much gets done.Hmmm now doesn’t that mean the ninth practice becomes the last one? I guess they should scrap that one also since its now considered the last one and nothing gets done.
Thats what im talking about building team chemistry I like it.
