Unlike Packer fans, I don’t need my team to win a championship in order to enjoy it. If it weren’t for those championships, the Packers would be playing in Jacksonville and Lambeau Field would be as deserted as it is during the fourth quarter of a home playoff game.

I remember when they hired Mike McCarthy. I was pretty skeptical... it felt like Mike Sherman all over again, and I wondered why they would pass on all the other guys out there for *this* guy. Now I know. Great coach, steadiest hand on the wheel I've seen in a long time.

I don't need the Pack to go to the Super Bowl every year; I'm just glad that they field a competitive team every year. As a Packers fan, it isn't hard to get fired up for a new season when you've got a team that's perennially in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy.

ESPN came up with future NFL power rankings. Guess which team they predicted to be number 1 again in 2015… the Green Bay Packers. Young team, great quarterback, and great coaching. Superbowl win in the last two seasons… Green Bay is the next dynesty.
_________

Okay, it's bad enough that Packer fans think they're going to win the Super Bowl every season, but now you're crowing about a Super Bowl victory that you're planning on three years from now? How did that work out for you last year?

What’s the point? They’ll easily make the playoffs, and winning a lot of regular season games doesn’t mean they’ll be able to avoid getting blown out at home in their first playoff game

It was the divisional round. You have to let it go, it was almost two years ago now that your steelers got destroyed by my packers.
__________

And your point is? I just said it was their first playoff game. If it had been the wildcard round, maybe they could have eeked out a victory.
