Receiver is easy to play no doubt. But not the easiest. All you have to do is run a pre designed route and catch the ball then run or get hit. Cornerbacks and defensive players in general have to react to what the offense is doing which means you don’t know what going to happen! And all the new rules are taking the D out of defense. A uneducated dumb asses corners can catch maybe not as well as some receiver but still. Look at Asante Samuel, darrelle revis, and a safety Ed reed (57 INTs bitches!), and he can’t catch? Also safeties are slow receivers on defense!? Laron Landry ran a 4.3, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.6 and is one of the great ones. The 40 maybe overrated but it show so display of speed. Also how do you know receivers are dbs that CAN’T HIT! Do you guys even know how many receivers refuse or can’t block? Seriously a lot. And I said dbs not cornerbacks in general who some of y’all might say cbs refuse to tackle. Think be fore you speak or go back to school.

So the NFL games some of you all watched saw Nnamdi being torched all season? Not really a question but the guy I saw get beat on a touchdown catch by Cruz and failed to tackle Cruz on a touchdown run played well in all other games, Shutting down or slowing down the other receivers he faced. If yall can name anyone else than i will digress.
Julio=no, Dez=no Santana=no Steve johnson=no Crabtree=no Branch= no he was checked by others and not to mention they Had him playing a hybrid Safety position and slot, so what are yall talking about. Now how many yards and catches did your Corners give up, the jets fan who said yall glad you didnt sign him, look at the Eagles vs Jets game and shut up when your done

Did any of you even take the time to watch the provided interview?

I don’t think anyone will take exception to his words within the league, only readers who look at a headline and make a comment based solely on that. The Headline makes it look like he was bashing WRs, not the case in the least. In the context of which the comment was made, I have to agree with him…

As for the WR that gives him fits, right now that would have to be Victor Cruz since he sees him twice a year…Even though Megatron is the best receiver in the NFL, he isn’t going to worry about him in the off season because of a week 6 game that will not seem as important as a division game against the Giants in week 17..

My immediate thought was, “what about the long snapper?” I still think that’s the easiest position. Receiver is up there, so Asomugha’s not too far off.

I think a pass rushing specialist might be easier as well. Line up at the end of the line, watch the ball being snapped, and run for the QB. Throw in a spin move or a head slap, and if you succeed 25 times in a season, you’re an all pro.

If you listen to the audio, this was harmless, No malice was given other than him being a top CB and talking about talking trash to other receivers. He got beat a couple times and more so outplayed for the ball not beat, His pedigree of being top corner means he can say this and move on. the Title of this thing makes it seem as if he was belligerent and arrogant. He wasnt!!!

Ten years ago I would have said WR is the hardest, now the NFL has changed the contact rules, it’s the easiest by far. No more contact and look at all the pass int calls every week. The game is changing.

While it’s the natural answer for a corner it actually surprises me. Seems there were quite a few games where he was surely needing to ice those ankles last year. I mean when you have a guy like Crabtree (who isn’t really that fast or shifty) juke you out of your cleats multiple times perhaps you have been exposed as a product of your original system….

over the course of many years, i have played every single position. he’s right, wr is the easiest. cb is the hardest, followed by qb.
if you think kicking or punting is easy, go to a park and try nailing a 40 yard field goal, or punting it 50 yards.
