Is it the true story? Doubtful. We all come up with a story to save face. Why would the sitter only call him and not the mom too? And if his wife was out of site, wonder where he was and what he was doing. What if there was a victim on his way home from drinking and driving…. would have ended in 2 losses. I am a nanny: best thing, call 911 and dad finds mom and takes cab.

48 hours in jail PLUS 7 nights in jail for a first offense dui???? Who was his defense attorney, Joe Amendola?? That’s a crazy penalty for a dui unless you have priors…or unless you weren’t just driving home to save your little girl.

As a cab driver in Phoenix I can tell you that almost always there is a cab driver waiting by the entrance of every concert venue in Phoenix when there is a show on. All Haggans had to do was jump in a cab and we wouldn’t be talking about this.

Good reason to be driving, I wouldn’t have wasted time either with my kid in trouble. Even though it was an emergency, driving drunk is illegal and I’m sure they couldn’t let it slide, no matter the circumstances.
