He didn’t do the math right. It was 68-91. And half of their home games each season were played in Milwaukee because no one wanted to drive to GB to see their shhhty team.

WRONG…the Packers played in Milwaukee while Lambeau was being built, then they made a deal with the city of MKE to play 3 games a year there until County Stadium was torn down..typical Viking fan..knows nothing about NFL history. Try reading once.

He’s still under contract for two more years with the Vikings. Once his contract is up, they could franchise him if they so choose, so if the Vikings wanted to make him honor his contract, he’s locked up for 3 years minimum.

Under the new CBA any player under contract that refuses to report to training camp it’s going to cost him $30k per day. Considering Percy’s contract is only $915k this year, I doubt he’s going to be holding out for very long.

If he decides to hold out next year, his option year, not only will he lose $30k per day that he doesn’t report to camp, but he will lose the equivalent of a game check for each preseason game that he misses as well.

Percy deserves more money than he is currently getting, no doubt about it. But his hand isn’t very strong in the negotiations. Especially with a team that is in rebuilding mode.

If the Vikings used him (and their other weapons) correctly, there is no reason Harvin shouldn’t have at least 1300 yards and 8 TD’s every year for them. He is like a much stronger and more talented Victor Cruz.

I really think if he would have been patient the Vikings would have paid him well. I don’t remember the last time that the Vikings had problems with paying their players. Look at AP, Greenway, Sullivan, etc. they pay well to the guys that earn it and Percy has earned it so if he would have been patient I’m positive the Vikings would have rewarded him with a new contract.

One problem he might have is that last year when he wanted to get on the field he was sidelined, because he missed so many practices they left him out of certain packages.

It’s hard to say what the right call was. Like I said above. The Vikings did put trust in him to play in packages he had limited practice in and he lined up wrong causing penalties or a breakdown of the play call.

Apparently he is in the last year of contract and there has been no talks to renew it at this time and he wants a new one now and the big bucks.

Sure one more big concussion and he may be gone and not worth a hoot to anyone else. His agent told him that, thus he should be unhappy.

Yeah nice thinking….they’ll never trade him…not this year. But on another subject…this is the 3rd player I’ve read about suffering from debilitating migraine headaches. Not like most people suffer from migraines, but like they have them off and on for days, weeks or months at a time. Bengals rookie Donte Moch missed most of last season with this problem. I’m just wondering, because I know someone who had a head injury and they suffer from a debilitating migraine condition, where they sometimes have a seizure with the migraine. And it wasn’t a major, major blow to the head. It was a broomstick from a defective factory stamping machine. It spit out and smacked them flush from the top of the forehead to the jaw. Now granted it’s a shot. Probably like some hitting you flush in the face with broomstick. But not much different than some of the brain trauma an NFL player might experience many times in his career. And this person took one shot just right, and it still effects them 20 years later, and will forever.

Trade him to Pittsburgh for Mike Wallace & Ike Taylor since Wallace needs to be signed long term & Taylor is near the end. The Steelers will then have a great receiver who is coming into his prime & the Vikings will have a true #1 receiver and sign him long term. Harvin throws weights at coaches. Doesn’t practice well at all. He is great in games but his practice habits a atrocious. Then Harvin can complain to the Steelers about a new contract and they will tell him to go #### himself just like most of the Vikings fans probably feel like telling him right now. Oh yeah did the Vikings ask him for a million dollars back when he fumbled in the NFC Championship & sat out practice the whole week prior to the game?
