I can't see him being more than a camp body at this point. He was a very good weapon in NE during his tenure, but there is a reason he was cut.

Vereen and Ridley need to be the guys getting the touches, with Woodhead coming in where needed. Unless they are thoroughly unhappy with their FB performance, I can't see him being an upgrade at any position (including those on the bench).

Why dont the pats sign L.T? It wouldnt be the first time the pats signed a charger after he had hung them up. It worked out pretty well when junior seau played for the pats and plus something tells me L.T would look good playing that kevin faulk role for the pats.. Sign L.T

Never heard of signing retired players.

I would hold off on signing runningbacks that are passed their prime (Sammy Morris and L. T.)Why not let the young guys they spent first day draft picks on try to prove themselves (Shane Vereen and Stephen Ridley).

Also, I doubt L. T. would come here because according to him Bill Belichick is a "classless guy."

This guy bangs it between the sticks, and finishes off runs. And, because of that, and his advanced age... he's prone to injury. If they are going to sign Sammy, why not just sign Faulk? It's time for the youth movement at RB. They already have their "grizzled" veteran, Addai.
