APWhile no official announcement has been made, it appears the Chiefs and Cardinals have agreed to a joint workout during training camp.
Ross Martin of the St. Joseph News-Press reported that Missouri Western State University athletic director Kurt McGuffin said the deal was “on track to get done.”
The Cardinals are expected to work out with the Chiefs at their camp after playing in the Aug. 5 Hall of Fame Game, and prior to their preseason game the following weekend at Arrowhead Stadium.
The joint workouts make for an extended road trip for the Cardinals, but mostly, they serve as a break from camp monotony for teams. After a week or so of practicing against your own guys, seeing someone else is a welcome reprieve.

It makes sense for the Cards. Instead of going to Canton, then back to Arizona, and then all the way back to KC for the pre-season game, they can just stay in the midwest for the week.
Boy, imagine the sparks flying when these two heavy weights get together.
Beat me to it Joe.
Joetoronto, what in the hell would you know about ANY heavyweight sports franchise you live in Toronto……dumbass.
This will give Matt Cassel a new set of defenders to practice being bad against. Can’t hurt.
Joe I keep forgetting who’s your favorite team again ? Ny giants? Saints? Packers? Pats? Steelers? Or should we wait for the sb to find out?
@joetoronto Aren’t you a Raiders fan? You know, the team that hasn’t finished higher than 3rd in a weak AFC West in 10 years?
@sj39 I can infer that you might be a Rams fan. Hahahahaha.
How dumb must canadians be that they choose a team that hasn’t been over the .500 mark in 10 years. Silly French. BTW, in the last 20 games KC’s 13-7 vs the faidets.
The Chiefs, the masters of irrelevance.
At least these kind of “joint workouts” don’t result in 4-game suspensions.
