Out of the 200 pages of evidence, at least 150 were just scounting reports on opposing teams and players — no mentions of bounties, just run of the mill scounting reports that all teams put together. The picture of Karney made no mention of bounties — in fact, it referenced that the Rams were much better running the ball when he was on the sideline. If anything the slide was telling the defense not to let him embarass them. Scouting an opponent does not equal putting a bounty on them.

At some point its going to dawn on Saints fans that no, all teams in all sports really don’t do stuff like this.

How many former Saints players are upset with that organization? It seems like an aweful lot of them fit that bill with the exception of those who are now circling the wagons after the bounty scandal went public.

Regardless, anyone who claims the Saints didn’t have a bounty program at this point is either stupid or ignorant. The coaches have already admitted that it existed. There is a video showing their defensive team meeting prior to a playoff game where they talk about taking out a guys ACL and hitting another player in the wad to cause a concussion, not to mention the plethora of evidence tied to bounties for “cart offs” and “kncokouts” in the 2009 NFC title game and the huge amount of illegal hits on Favre.

Seriously. You Saints fans who are still stubbornly claiming your team did nothing wrong need to wake up and smell what you’re shoveling.

You always had the best things to say about the city and the team….Thennn……….They make a business move, have to cut you, and the city and the team turns ”evil”. Gimmie a break. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if ”GOD”dell himself confronted you with a pouch full of silver and asked you to bash the greatest team you ever played for. Next story, moving on…………………

Karney was extremely bitter when the Saints cut him in 2009 and lashed out a couple times in the media. He simply lost his job to a better player. IIRC he was cut on the day before his wedding.

This story was written by Jeff Duncan, who was yanked off the Times-Picayune’s Saints beat last week and since has written a series of increasingly negative stories about them. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.

Well? What was the quote about whether he had hard feelings about leaving the Saints?

Because, honestly, he admits nothing even seemingly illegal came his way in the game, despite him being part of a pre-game presentation and the NFL using it in their bounty case. It seems like something just used to prejudice anyone against those involved, even if it doesn’t contribute to the case in anyway.

Athletes speaking with scorn for someone who has now joined the enemy? This is used to, what, establish character? EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE IS COMPRISED LARGELY OF PEOPLE WHO SAY “F— THAT DUDE” IF THEY JOIN A RIVAL.

2008 = 28th Rushing in the League

2009 = 6th Rushing in the League
