He fought his way back from a serious injury and by all accounts was looking outstanding during offseason workouts, this he blows out his other knee…. Hopefully he clears waivers, recovers, and works his tail off to get back to where he needs to be and the Saints can pick him back up next year.

Same goes for DAL ILB Bruce Carter out of UNC who shared big upside but required some level of patience while recovering from a knee injury.

The good news is Carter looks ready to rock, so credit to Dallas for that move. Carter WILL make noise.

The bad news here is that Romeus must feel snakebit. Poor guy. Very promising player – hope he can show it at some time.
