It worked for Chicago a few years ago with Big Cat Williams. They moved him from DLine to OT.

I don’t see why the ‘Hawks would have drafted him if they didn’t think he could make the conversion at some point in the next few seasons. He probably wont make the final roster, but after a year or two on the practice squad he might be able to carve out a niche at OG

Can still remember Dan Devine switching All-Pro OG Gale Gillingham to DT. Every time I think of that I tell myself it must have been a bad dream. But it really happened.

If the switch to guard doesn’t work out, JR Sweezy sounds like a great name for a DJ.
