@ravenat0r: The Steelers do have more championships in the last decade,2 to 1. That being said, the Steelers current roster moves would indicate they're about to enter another multi-decade period of "reloading" akin to the 26 years between SB wins 4 and 5,whereas the Ravens appear to be on more of an upward trend. I think that playoff loss in Denver will be more of the norm for the remainder of Ben's tenure. Keep in mind the Steelers have now lost their last 2 postseason games,and in both the defense(cornerstone of the Steelers) has been exposed. The Ravens on the other hand have a similar problem as far as losses go,but it's been drops that have killed them.(Boldin/Houshmanzadeh in '10 & Evans in '11)

haa this is gold. ravenator trolls daily on steeler articles and now has himself a band ofimposters. Ravenator I know youre pompous so youve already thought about this, but impersonation is the most sincere form of flattery. You reap what you sow brother. Pretty pathetic on their part, but amusing nonetheless.

On the real though Im pretty sure the Ravens Oline will not have issues (barring injury). Find a suitable replacement for Birk and theyre back at it.

if you cannot stand the fact that the steelers are historically better than us then you should refer to playoff wins (and championships) in the past decade. You may find the steelers chalk that up in the win column.

speak for yourself. I dont appreciate you deciding who and what I am a fan of... just because I enjoy the color purple does it make me a true Ravens fan? I think not. Personally the line will be worse than the Steelers O-line over the last 4 seasons comibined. Our time is up folks. Ray Rice is yet to be signed, Ed Reed will most likely show up (I dont think he has the passion anymore), and Suggs wont be a factor. Face it guys the nest is burning. I dont think Harbaugh and his minions have the ability to right the sinking ship. Unfortunate but true. Now you know where I stand. I hate the Steelers more than I love the Ravens. Its a problem Ive been dealing with for years and there is no cure in sight for me.

Yeah, I'm sure that lot of nobodies will get the job done...

Flacco has never missed a game in his career. He is probably the most durable QB in the game today. Doesn't matter anyway though, since Ray Rice owns the Bengals. 295 yards on only 44 carries, which is over a 6.7 YPC average BTW, with 4 TDs and that's not even counting his receptions.

How about you worry about your own QB first, he threw 3 INTs to 1 TD under a 55 completion percentage against Baltimore last year. That's not going to get it done against a top tier team like Baltimore. That probably won't even get it done against the Browns this season.

You're a complete moron if you think that's the case. Flacco is so terrible he had 2 GW drives under 2 minutes last year and should have beat the Pats in the AFCC if it. Wasn't for Lee Evans on a perfectly thrown ball. He has never had great receivers to throw to and this past year was his most inexperienced group yet. BK didn't quit he's just a fat out of shape dude who can't survive an entire season in the NFL. Please drop some game notes from 2011 other than the Jacksonville game where Flacco was an issue. Go on I'll wait...

watermelon1 says:Jun 24, 2012 4:44 PM

McKinnie was pretty damn good week 1 last year against a hyped-up steelers defense. In fact he was probably the MVP of that game.

But as many years as he’s been in the league, he knew right away Flacco is not the answer at QB and will keep the offense from reaching it’s
Full potential. So McKinnie basically quit. The rest of the team will eventually realize this and start to quit too. Too much talent on that team to again be wasted by QB play.

==================================

Bitter much? Flacco was outstanding in both games against Pittsburgh, and in the playoffs two years in a row now. He'll get this team over the top, don't worry.

==================================

Bitter much? Flacco was outstanding in both games against Pittsburgh, and in the playoffs two years in a row now. He’ll get this team over the top, don’t worry.

Joe Flacco 2008-2011:
2008 - 11-5/AFCCG loss
2009 - 9-7/Div. Round loss to AFC SB participant
2010 - 12-4/Div. Round loss to AFC SB participant
2011 - 12-4/AFCCG loss
___________________________________
Matt Ryan 2008-2011
2008 - 11-5/Home Wildcard loss to NFC SB participant
2009 - (only played in 14 games) 9-7/miss playoffs
2010 - 13-3/Home Wildcard loss to NFC SB participant
2011 - 10-6/Wildcard loss to SB winner

I'll stick with Flacco watermelon1. He's not the greatest ever, but he plays well when he needs to, and wins more than he loses. Under his tenure he's given the franchise more W's than L's and solidified a position that was helmed by Grbac,Wright,Banks,Dilfer,Testaverde,McNair(a beatup older McNair, not the MVP version),and Boller. He also has more playoff W's than Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford,Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Josh Freeman, Matt Schaub, and Phil Rivers combined.
