Getty ImagesSince Lincoln Financial Field opened in 2003, the operative phrase at the concession window has been, “No Coke. Pepsi.“
In 2012, Coke returns.
According to Terry Lefton of SportsBusiness Journal, the Eagles will announce Thursday that the franchise has changed its official soda sponsorship from Pepsi back to Coke.
Lefton writes that roughly 20 teams have soda deals, with the Steelers recently switching to Pepsi after a half-century with Coke.
The change at the Eagles’ home stadium already has been made, with folks at the concession window who attended events in early June hearing, “No Pepsi. Coke.”
