In fact give me a job where I can use profanity when yelling at co-workers, trash talk my company on twitter & facebook, get busted for a DUI, smoke weed, use drugs, sell drugs, face charges of assault, affiliate with criminals, befriend murderers, shoot myself in the leg, beat my wife, hit my girlfriend, abuse animals, father 9 kids from 7 different women, punch a cop, get arrested for disorderly conduct, serve time in prison and not only get to keep that job but make millions off endorsements, get hindquarters smooched 24/7, have around 2 months of vacation per year, health care, meals & get paid millions of for it.

I don’t have a problem with how much these guys make. I have a problem with how much these guys make and yet they think they’re immune to acting like mature adults. I don’t think a single one of them could handle the real world. It’s no wonder so many of them end up suing the NFL after they retire. Being held accountable for your actions when you’re a regular person stinks but it’s what grownups do It’s not meant for wimps like the NFL players of today who seem to think the sun doesn’t rise until they get up.

The best part of all of this is the Karma involved-

The more Brees talks, the more respect & goodwill he loses from NFL fans. I know Brees claims the Saints have unshakeable confidence, but the Saints have never had to play an entire season as public enemy #1. The Saints will be getting every single team’s best effort, as if they are a hated rival.
Add in all the bounty-related distraction & the absence of Sean Payton, & my money is on the Saints NOT making the playoffs…even if they do, I’ll gladly pay up to see the entire Saints’ defense get trucked by another RB the way Marshawn Lynch did the year before last.

The NFLPA should sue to force them to open the books on the NFL equivalent of the 9/11 Commission Report, because I guarantee you 90% of it is total nonsense.

The difference between the Saints and Patriots is that New England didn’t deny it, they didn’t sue the league, they didn’t go on TV crying foul, they didn’t claim everyone else did it.

You know what they did, they built off it and went on to have an undefeated regular season.

Now its one thing if the Saints players were just fired up to be in the franchises first Championship game and were a little to over zealous and were hitting Favre late after he hands the ball off to Peterson on a running play, Diving at Favre knees and ankles after he’s already passed the ball, elbowing Favre head after the pass was gone, etc. etc.

But 3 years later we find out the truth, those players wanted the $35,000 bounty that was placed on Favre head by coach Vitt, Vilma, and a felon that has mob ties that coach Peyton seems to be buudies with?!

Thinking about this disgust me and if I was the commish, none of these low lifes would ever step onto an NFL field again. Personally I beleive they should be locked away from respectable society.

This is exactly the type of reader I was talking about. No intensions of understanding. First off, that wasn’t the Saint first championship game. It was their first championship game at home, but it wasn’t the first one they played in. Second, the NFL has already come out and said that ledger was inaccurate when it comes to coach Vitt’s pledge of $5,000. I’ll reiterate the *NFL* said that wasn’t accurate. You’re a Vikings fan, I understand you are upset over a game played nearly 3 years ago, but if you seriously think the Vikings lost because of a “bounty” than I would advice you to watch that game again, particularly the last minute of the game and watch the melt down the Vikings had (12 men, interception) well in field goal range. I’m sorry the Vikings shot themselves.

What is demonstrably different with the Saints is that is was so systematic and entrenched.

Brees may not like his reputation soiled, but he is playing for a team that at best looked the other way – and at worst, condoned it!

The Saints truly deserve harsher treatment than they got.

And Brees – remember, this is not the NFL anymore, this is the Chick Football league – now they have appeal to the lowest dead common denominator and don’t care for hits.
