Wahlberg grew up in a rough area just outside of Boston for most of his life – Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, etc. fandom is ingrained in you. He’s a legit Boston guy, him being a Pats fan should be no surprised. Check his Wiki, he had a really screwed up youth, but all of his roots are still in Boston.

I’m mostly impressed he’s kept true to that fan allegiance despite becoming filthy rich and famous. Good for him. He’s in no way a bandwagon guy, that story is probably 100% legit if he’s a real Pats fan.

Hate pats time for another team to win hate bandwagon fans but yea Wahlberg is a real fan I understand. Still hate that everyone hating on the team that actually won the superbowl im not a giants fan but y don’t they get the credit they earned? If pats would have won would people treat them the way everyone has treated the giants?

i’m really tired of giants fans saying you “own” the patriots…you beat them three times (barely all three times) in the last 5 years and the giants might have been the better team maybe once…by your logic then the redskins, saints, seahawks, and for the most part the eagles own the giants and every time you talk about it you always fail to leave out the fact that you barely topped .500 in the regular season, you lost 7 games (most of which to pretty awful teams), and you were the first team in the divisional era to make it out of the nfc east with single digit wins…let’s face it your team was barely playoff material last year you just happened to get hot at the right time but that doesn’t make you the better team

New England’s season doesn’t start until Jan. 12 or 13 the divisional round. Barring Tom Brady going down with that division and schedule they’ll practically a lock to win at least 12 games which pretty much gives then a top 2 seed. Of course then we get to see their new playoff choke (twice to NYG, NYJ, Balt, etc)

I’ll ask Don Henley and Glenn Frey and get back to you. but seriously, speaking as an Eagles fan, no, i’m not upset by this. The guy is from Massachusettes, he’s a Patriots fan, and he should be, regardless of the fact that he played an Eagle in a movie.

and as an aside, i know i’m in the minority of Eagles fans on this, but i thought that movie wasn’t very good.
