APDez Bryant’s trying to haul in another touchdown for Dallas.
Only this time, it’s for the NBA Mavericks rather than the Cowboys.
The big-play receiver sent a Twitter message to free agent point guard Deron Williams, considered the prize of this summer’s NBA free agent class.
“Dallas fans are waiting on your arrival,” Bryant tweeted to Williams, a simple, but elegant note.
Williams is expected to decide between joining the Mavericks or staying with the Brooklyn Nets soon.
Something tells me as earnest and well-intentioned as Bryant’s missive was, the envelope full of long green messages Mavs owner Mark Cuban could be sending might matter a little more.

I’m not going to argue basketball and why Deron will stay in Brooklyn here on a football website (especially considering most of you don’t even seem to understand football), so I’ll just leave it with this: Dallas fans are still awaiting your arrival too, Dez.
Dallas Cowboy fans have been tweeting that same message to Dez for the last two years.
