I love how people keep bringing up that silly Williams audio to prove that their was a bounty program. Sure what he said was a bit on the brash side, but two aspects are rarely mentioned:

1) In a game where there wasn’t a single penalty called on the Saints defense, the players never injured anyone in the SF game (Pierre Thomas was the only one who was carted-off in the entire game); and,

2) Williams stated at the end of the audio: “Do not hurt anyone, play a clean game.”

Let me understand this correctly, telling the team not to hurt people is intent to injure?

What’s your point? That Brees knew about Pamphilon’s tape? Who cares? What does that have to do with anything?

Are we to buy that Cerullo is “erratic and unstable”, yet he was hired as the director of football operations at Princeton? Tell me how one who is so erratic and unstable, and burns his bridges, is supposed to get a job like that? Wouldn’t think that he’d have to have some good references to land that job? It seems you want 100% proof for some matters, yet you can drag a guys name through the mud on a rumor.

Cerullo is simply going to be collateral damage for the NFL….an unfortunate casualty, but an acceptable loss in their fight for the moral high ground…

The league took the word of an erratic (their assessment) disgruntled ex-Saints employee to “reverse engineer” their case against the team…

Because the Saints are just more collateral damage for the league, as the NFL has had an epiphany on concussions so the suspended players and coaches have been packaged up as Defense Exhibit A in the future lawsuits against the former players….

If Cerullo has nothing to do with this or did not provide evidence used then the NFL must publicly state so. The last thing this mess needs is anything else to muddy the water even more.

Cerullo, at the time of his termination, created such a scene at Saints headquarters that he had to be escorted from the building by security. The police were also called.

Yes, he was very bitter about his firing. He may think he was blackballed by the Saints, but being terminated right after a Super Bowl victory is not going to look good on anyone’s resume’.

Well the players asked for Cerullo’s presence during their appeal, so we can assume they’re pretty confident with this one.

Vilma will do everything he can to lie about his involvement just like every player in every sport does when they get caught cheating or breaking the rules.

Did he also provide them the ledgers that weren’t accurate for the games they supposedly tracked?
