Let’s see:

1. Dansby is underperforming his current contract
2. His contract doesn’t expire until 2014
3. Miami is unlikely to try to sign him again in 2014 at past franchise tag rates or the new one

How the hell is Dansby the most affected by this again?

I’d echo what bchapman2011 says.

Unless he improves his play, I’d be very surprised if he makes it to the end of his contract without a restructuring. He’s not worth the $$$.

This is a non issue. Dansby is underperforming his current contract and there is no way Miami would ever contemplate franchising this guy.

Good luck this season drew, I hope you show everyone that you are worth it. Now saints, make sure you pay him the 23 million a season he deserves, and is owed, plus 75 million in guaranteed money. Small price to pay for his services…
