Linebacker Junior Seau, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on May 2, continues to be the subject of memorials and remembrances in his hometown of Oceanside, California.

According to the North County Times, via 10news.com, a tribute to Seau will be held in conjunction with Saturday’s Samoan Cultural Celebration.

The celebration lasts all day, but Seau will specifically be honored at 2:15 p.m. PT, in a ceremony featuring members of his family and several of his football colleagues.

Seau graduated from Oceanside High School in 1987, and after playing college football at USC, he starred for the nearby Chargers, landing in 12 straight Pro Bowl as part of a 20-year career.
