Prior to 1967 there were no “playoffs” as we would recognize them. There was only a championship game and that only started in 1933. So the “playoff appearances listing is all championship games from 1933-1966 then any playoff appearance since.

Texans: 1 (founded in 2002).

So the only saving grace for the Saints is the Arizona Cardinals – but they have 2 NFL Championships compared to the Saints 1….

I’m pretty sure he is talking about during the superbowl era. Before that the NFL had no playoff system. The two best teams would play. The giants made that game 26 times, an NFL record. I’m pretty sure the giants have made the playoffs 5 times in the last decade. The giants have been to 5 superbowls so I know for a fact this data is talking about superbowl era. So no its not more impressive from the cowboys

Considering the Cowboys haven’t been relevant since 1995 makes the Cowboys one of the worst choke artists in the NFL. You better hope the Giants don’t get to 5 rings before you get to 6.

But a big part of this is their ability to bring in the right coaches at the right time (in their careers and based on team needs).

Coach Coughlin’s no nonsense, measured style of discipline and focus is admirable. Coach Parcell’s ability to wrangle in a player like LT to ensure he gave his all on the field (look at what life after the game has been like for him) made you respect them even if they weren’t your team.
