It is just July and training camp is just around the corner. I really don’t care how everybody else thinks about whether or not Moss will fail or if Jim Harbaugh is an idiot for bragging how good he thinks he’ll be this upcoming season. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but what really matters to me is what the team will look like going into the season and see where we’re at when the halfway point of the season (week 8) gets here before I start making my judgements. Every thing else leading up to the season is all speculation, so bring it on Niner haters and we’ll see whose standing when the smoke clears in January. Myself, I hope it’s us, with ring #6…

While reading all this stuff about the “good” Randy, all could hear in the back of my mind was the ominous soundtrack from the movie ‘Jaws’ when the you just know the shark is coming.

So we all know Harbaugh is going to talk his team/players up no matter what, i mean we seen it first hand all year last year with Alex Smith. but with that has come production to back it up (so far) I have been a Niners fan as far back as i can remember and last year was my favorite football season behind the 94 SB season. Harbaugh is not only a great coach but a Leader of Men and he does it with such passion and intensity and has brought back that great feeling of being a Niners fan. We have no reason to believe that all this talking up Moss stuff wont work, sure you can say Alex Smith or the fact that Moss is old. But the truth remains that the Niners and Harbaugh have nothing to lose in the Moss experiment. hes on an incentive based one yr deal that if he dont work out hes going to get the Braylon Edwards treatment. With the talent level of the offense this year, at worst Randy will be RedZone threat….Niners all day!!

crabtree is a huge first round bust, moss is all smiles now , but watch out when the losses start piling up and smith goes 12 of 20 and no catches for randy. i can see 9-7 for the 9′ers this year.

Moss was a good teammate this way in NE too. His former teammates don’t have much bad to say about him in NE. But that’s only part of the picture.

Any1 who believes in harbaugh, shoud kno he only sayz wat he sayz, for the good of his team. He does not care wat idiot outsiders like yu ppl hav to say about him or his team. He says wat he says for WINS, not yur opinions. As far as im concerned as long as he has my 49ers winning, i coudnt care less about wat he says.

That’s like being the smartest kid in special ed. The Niner’s receivers are nothing to brag about. Crabtree is only a #2 on most teams, even a #3 on some.

Moss is also having an effect on non-WRs on the team too.

Perrish Cox was quoted saying that when Moss beats a DB in practice he will pull the DB aside and tell him what he did to beat them and why WRs in the league do that to specific DBs.

I’m glad to see Randy putting in a real effort to better himself and his team. As far as Crabtree, sometimes guys need that example to understand how things operate. A lot of young men have issues with authority and seeing someone like Randy Moss, a guy Crabtree probably looked up to as a kid, falling in line can really help them mature. Crabtree has talent and maybe he can develop into a great receiver. I know this much, Harbaugh is the Zen Master of the NFL. He has the Phil Jackson arrogance and he backs it up. He knows what he’s doing with this team and as a Niner that give me a lot of optimism.

Harbaugh is going to be the next Buddy Ryan. I can’t wait until the 49ers fall flat on their faces this coming season and all the spin in the world won’t help Harbaugh then. Alex Smith won’t be catching anyone by surprise. I’m predicting at least a two interception game in the season opener against the Packers. Hahahaha

I’d take those comments with a grain of salt because if Moss is that great, why did 31 other teams pass on him? Does the coach have ‘rose colored’ glasses or is he a savant?
