    About crunch time: We will be hearing all week from “sources close to the negotiations”. There are NO sources close to the negotiations. There is Brees and his agent and there’s Mickey Loomis and Tom Benson. Anything else your see here or elsewhere is made up.

    sigh ….. it doesn’t matter whether it’s Charlie Batch or Dennis Dixon or the “Elite Pro Bowler” Roethlisberger ….. if the Steeler defense gives up 20 points it is a sure-fire, written-in-stone, slam dunk, automatic loss for the Steelers.
