And noteworthy too……in his High School Division 3 State Track and Field Championships, he took first place in the 100, 200, 400, and the long jump. This guy is a Sleeper Keeper…and still drives the Buick his grandmother gave him for college, and still goes home to his brothers farm in the off-season. A true Packer kind of guy.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pack carry both these guys – if they show the same promise this year that they did last (IOW – no one year wonders).

They carried a lot of TE’s last year as insurance on the Finely situation, can’t see them doing it again and that’s where you’d see your roster spots open for these guys.

Not to mention the Moss kid who only played one year of college football but has amazing athleticism and could be a star in a few years. I can’t imagine they keep six WRs, but I couldn’t imagine they’d keep 3 FBs or 5TEs either. Hope trader Ted can trade at least one guy for a draft pick.

Every April the NF has a draft, google you’ll see it’s true. Then see what the Packers picked in the draft. I’m sure after a wile and maybe with a little help you will get it figured out.

So what your saying is they aren’t good enough to be on the packers?? You got everything out of them you could, and now your dumping them?? Not sure how these two young guys are leftovers, especially if the packers paid them more money to stay on with the team.

Not to mention that both Gurley (Vikings) and Borel (Bucs) were offered active roster spots by other teams during the 2011 season, but turned them down to stay on the Packers’ practice squad. Might not have been the smartest short-term monetary decision, but they know they’ll get top-flight coaching during a full offseason in Green Bay and will be much more ready to stick with a team this fall, be it in Green Bay or elsewhere.

Personally I’m hoping that Gurley makes the team, since he’s the exact same size as Vincent Jackson (6′ 5″, 230lbs) and they currently don’t have a receiver who’s taller than 6 feet. Other than Finley, they don’t have a guy who can out jump his coverage if needed.

Good thing they have enough playakers on offense. Doesn’t seem like Thompson gave a rats @ss about the defense or offensive lines in the past year. But hey, you keep your 12 guys (23% of the ) that can catch on the team. Don’t worry about the 30th ranked defense.
