The Bears look awfully dangerous this year and are gonna drop the hammer on a lot of teams!! The Lions would have stayed home for the playoffs last year if it weren't for Chicago's injuries and lack of quality depth at the QB position!! The Bears are looking damn good thru the offseason and stand a chance at winning multiple rings in the next 4 years!!

If the Bears weren't given the week 1 game in 2010 the Lions would have won at least 7 that year while the Bears, instead of winning the division and getting a 2 seed would have been watching from home. FUNNY, how Lions fans were "crying" and there's "No injury excuses in football" but when it happens to the Bears…OMG!! It's called "Karma", schmuck. As a Lions fan I acknowledge if ya didn't have the injuries you'd have made it, but given the year prior and the approach by Bears fans I can only say "Stop crying, injuries are part of the game" and "Would'a, could'a, should'a".

The rediculous thing of it is that you're spot on!! That's all it would take, probably even a smaller signing bonus would get it done! I really think its pathetic that the Bears won't give him the deal that he's earned, the deal that they have told him he would get for the last two plus years!! When you consider how long they jerked him around and promised they would take care of him, only to use their "get out of jail free card" when they couldn't take advantage of his rediculously low rookie contract any longer!! The worst part of this whole thing is that it would be easy for them to guard against any serious loss by making the deal back heavy with a reasonable signing bonus and lots of incentive money tied in.. If they had to cut him loose for any reason, they would suffer only a minimal cap hit.. AND they would have one of the best all around RBs in the game, HAPPY to be there and feeling well taken care of!!!

Are you serious?!?!?!?! Michael Bush is just as good as Matt Forte?!?!?
At what? A nacho eating contest? If he were even close to Matt Forte's level, he probably would have been picked up by a team as a starting RB don't you think?? He's a backup RB, just as he's been his entire career! The bears are gonna use him as a short yardage runner and in Goaline to reduce wear on their elite RB!!

Forte is widely regarded, by his peers, NFL coaches and many analysts as the best true all around back in the league!!

I suppose next you're gonna unleash more wisdom on us and proclaim that Chase Daniel is just as good as Drew Breese?!?!?!

Honestly, Cutler Should be talking him into signing, instead of being so apathetic about it.

With a new coordinator, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey and two returning starting O-Linemen – the Bears have enough to succeed on offense. Michael Bush isn’t Matt Forte – but he’s certainly better than his backups the past two seasons – Marion Barber and Chester Taylor.
