The day after baseball’s All-Star game typically is the slowest sports day on the entire calendar.
But that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of things to discuss.
I’ll be discussing plenty of things from 9:00 a.m. ET through 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, while sitting in for Dan Patrick, who’s taking a little time off in advance of his trip to London to work the Olympics for NBC.
The Danettes are off, too, so it’s a radio-only show, from the PFT Live studio. Which also is my office. Which also is my basement. (Actually, I’ve upgraded to the first floor.)
The show streams at DanPatrick.com, and it’s available the old-fashioned way, via more than 270 radio stations across the country. Wednesday’s guests include Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith, attorney Rusty Hardin, FOX’s Jay Glazer, and Brian Geltzweiler of HoopsCritic.com.
And then, when the show ends, it’ll be time to pass the baton to PFT Live, which gets rolling right here at 12:00 p.m. ET. Shaun King of NBC Sports Network and Mike Dempsey of 1010XL in Jacksonville will join me for a show that hopefully will last considerably less than three hours.
Through it all, we’ll be pumping out PFT content. So keep hitting the F5 button, and tune in for The Dan Patrick Show at 9:00 a.m. ET, and then PFT Live at 12:00 p.m. ET.
And then keep hitting the F5 button.
