The Patriots figure to be strong. Much respect to that crew. Everyone gets on their coach for cheating. Wish it never happened – but the dude is smart as hell, and has a stud first ballot HOF’er behind center.

The Texans will be huge – watch out for them. They were badasses without Schaub, Andre, etc. Think about how tough they’ll be WITH them.

The Bills may surprise a lot of folks. Same for the Chiefs.

And, despite some key questions about their defense, the Packers can make a lot of noise. Rodgers is deadly. Flat out lethal. No team is safe against an Aaron Rodgers-led team.

But my pick is my own Pittsburgh Steelers. Though young, our OL is so much stronger than in ’10 and ’11 where we won narrowly lost a Super Bowl and then went 12-4.

Colon didn’t play a snap in those years. Now he’s moving to OG — a position perfectly suited to his skillset.

Gilbert: no OTAs due to the lockout/CBA negotiations. Not this year though – plus he has a year of baptism by fire under his belt.

Pouncey: does anything really need to be said about Maurkice? MONSTER.

Adams: first round OT talent who figures to ascend the learning curve rapidly.

DeCastro: best OG prospect since Hutch/Fanica. Nasty too. A leader of men. This cat is the real deal.

Watch out for the Steelers — they will be a team to be wary of.
