The rams will be playing a lot of really young players this year. If these players evolve, this team will be at the top of the division in a few years.
Jeff Fischer will be a plus for this team compared to the previous coaches in the last decade. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt for now related to his ability to coach winning team.

Fisher had a ton of talent in Tennessee? The rams will be better just by being a more disciplined team.

6 years picking top 5 picks and still can’t find any elite player.. pathetic!!… Fisher had a ton of talent in TN and still couldnt win c-rap. not sure why Ram fans think that this guy will turn things around right away. bring the thumbs down.. you all know is true. Jeff Fisher and that very impressive resume of his will have this Rams team middle of the pack by next year. After that, that is where they will stay.

For all the geniuses like smacksaw I’m not going to go into the many reasons why any team let alone the Rams would not want to move to LA but rather I’ll go with why the Rams are staying in St. Louis. Most outside of St. Louis seem to be under the impression there is a bad stadium issue with the dome. The dome is fine, it’s just boring and the Rams have a clause in the lease that allows them to switch to a year to year basis for the next ten years if the dome is not upgraded to be one of the top buildings in the NFL. The Rams have the best lease agreement in the NFL 500,000 per year and all the revenue. Kroenke can stay put and make plenty of money without any improvements if he wants to but he will opt for the year to year and do what he wants to do – build his own state of the art stadium. He has been quietly buying up properties in and around St. Louis, some for investments and some that would be obvious real estate for a stadium complex. He already has bought West Port Plaza and St. Louis Union Station and is rumored to be working on buying 300 acres in St. Louis county where a Chrysler plant once stood with phenomenal highway and main road access as well as the Old Bottle District just north of the dome. The Rams are rebuilding have a great future as a team and Stan is going to build his own multi-purpose, state of the art palace, the only question being will it be downtown or in St. Louis County. The Rams are in St. Louis to stay.

Bradford, another example of people needing to give it a few years. After his Rookie year he was thrown near the top of the games QB’s. Then he had the inevitable struggles, and people question if he can amount to anything. Just…..relax. Stop making predictions based on whatever you saw last. That’s what idiots do. Are you an idiot?

note to all the west coast haters, the NFC west had the 2nd best record against out of division opponents & that includes beating the hyped up NFC east in head to head meetings last season, you know that division that just about every one claims to be the best!!!

They have a lot of young talent, and with their own draft picks next year likely coming near the top of each round, and the additional picks acquired by dealing the #2 pick this year, this team could be a serious contender in 3 years. That assumes, of course, that they hit on several of those picks. If I was a Rams fan I would be excited about their long term prospects.

Yes, the offense is lacking, but the defense will be a lot better than people realize. Easily the 2nd best team in NFC West.

AFC South was the weakest division last season, NFC West bubbled all the way up to #7 (out of 8).
