These guys are known friends of his, so of course they are going say play-calling doesn’t matter. But it does. The most telling thing to me was Reggie McKenzie showed no interest whatsoever in Philbin during his coaching search. His lack of experience combined with his family baggage was just too much, and Reggie had seen that first-hand.

I like what I hear about Philbin…and so many of his colleagues agree. I just need to be patient – Rome wasn’t built in a day and I know it will be difficult to turn our offense completely around in one year.

We’ll have more free-agency room next summer and another draft – THIS year, we teach and set goals (and hopefully slap Sanchez and Brady around a bit) – next year we kick ass!

Sounds good to me. Need to find someone to throw it. Garrard is the leader in the clubhouse for maybe this year. Could I possibly be watching a efficient offense in the making ?
